Designing Constructed Wetlands for Stormwater Management Thursday, July 15, 2004 M.L. Brown Jr. Public Safety Building Conway, SC
Constructed wetlands—when properly designed, built, and maintained—are efficient, cost-effective, and underutilized tools for managing stormwater runoff. Constructed wetlands combine specially-selected plants and carefully planned hydrology to maximize water residence time and improve water quality. This training event is intended to provide the design and engineering community with technical training about the design, construction, and maintenance of constructed wetlands for stormwater management.
