Weather Data

Near real-time weather data are available from the NERR meteorological station located at Oyster Landing. The data are collected at 15 minute intervals and transmitted to the NOAA GOES satellite network every hour. The data are then received from the satellite network by the National Estuarine Research Reserve System’s Centralized Data Management Office, in Columbia, SC and posted on the web.

Water Quality Data

Near real-time data on water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH and turbidity are available from the NERR monitoring sites at Oyster Landing and in Debidue Creek. The data are collected at 15 minute intervals and transmitted to the NOAA GOES satellite network every hour. The data are then received from the satellite network by the National Estuarine Research Reserve System’s Centralized Data Management Office, in Columbia, SC and posted on the web.
